Food Runner Position
The Food Runner at Cafe Diplomatico is responsible for ensuring that all food is delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Job Description
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are complete and accurate.
- Deliver food orders to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with servers and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide superior customer service at all times
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area.
- Will assist in other roles in the restaurant when required.
- Other duties as required, to support the restaurant operations.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Prior experience as a food runner or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and do so with a smile.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Able to take direction from multiple sources
- Able to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
